Katariina Laakso is a Product and Interior Designer (Designer BA, 2013), living and working in Helsinki.

As an interior designer Katariina specialises in restaurants, cafes, offices and other public spaces where people meet each other, outside their private homes. She's interested in designing spaces that take into account both user groups - the employees as well as the visitors.

As a product designer, her core competencies are in structure-understanding, furniture production and manufacturing methods. She finds beauty in material balance, effortless details and natural lines.
